Firstly, don’t do these activities in your office, even after taking permission from your superior. It will surely backfire later. Just concentrate on your office work in office. Only few offices tolerate employees spending time on personal development activities.
You can utilize your travel time- to and from office to complete your studies or do research work, if based on online research.
You can use your weekends and leaves for both the activities. If possible, try to devote one hour before leaving for office or after reaching home for studies and research.
